Top 10 Worst Officiating Blunders In History - Part 1

After the debacle that was the 2nd Test at Lord’s, I have decided to come up with my personal Top Ten worst umpiring decisions.  This is not meant to be an all-encompassing list or the worst calls ever, but the ones that hit me in a deep and personal way.  Well, maybe not all of them but at least some of them did.

10 - BRETT HULL’S IN THE CREASE GOAL

The 1999 NHL Stanley Cup Finals came to a controversial end  during Game 6 of the Buffalo - Dallas series.  Down 3-2 in the series, Buffalo took Game 6 into an overtime marathon after answering a first period Dallas goal with their own in the second. (continue reading…)

A Week Of Amazing Skills

I was going to call this post “Oh My God, did you just see that?” but thought better of it. The past week has seen a few pieces of skill that just makes you sit back and say “Well that just happened.”

First off here is Pittsburgh Penguin Evgeni Malkin in game 2 of the NHL Eastern Conference finals against Carolina. This is the 3rd goal of his hat trick in the game.
