I’m Tiger Woods - Can I Buy You A Drink?

Well the glossy untarnished world of Tiger Woods has come crashing down around his ears. But he has finally admitted it is all of his own doing and has decided to take a leave of absence from the pro golf tour to try and clean up the mess he has created.
So what has he really done here? The last two of the four quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League were started today. Barcelona taking on Bayern Munich and Liverpool hosting Chelsea.
In Spain, Barcelona took a massive stranglehold on the tie with Bayern by beating them 4-0. Goals from superstars Lionel Messi who scored twice, Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto’o have given Barca an almost insurmountable lead. Bayern didn’t even look like they were in the same class as Barca for most of the match and must improve markedly to even compete in the return leg.
Liverpool started their match at Anfield in fine style after Fernando Torres gave them an early lead. But from then on things went a little pear shaped. Two goals from the surprising source of defender Branislav Ivanovic and the finisher from striker Didier Drogba who maybe should have had more conspired to make a mockery of Torres’ pre-match assertion that the Champions League was Liverpool’s main focus. It will be hard to peg Chelsea back now at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal’s season is hitting a pot-hole after losing William Gallas for the season with a knee injury and goalkeeper Manuel Almunia for three weeks.
The Masters at Augusta start tonight and all eyes are on Tiger Woods to see if he really is back to form after his layoff. I hope he does well because the guy is just a freak and you love watching him, even though I don’t follow golf that much.
