The Ashes - The Lord’s Test

Well the most eagerly awaited test match of this week is upon us. There is always a buzz around the world when England plays at Lords and when Australia plays there, well it normally means a win for the convicts.
Australia hasn’t lost at this ground since Adam was a lad and after the shellacking that they served up in Wales, albeit without managing to finish England off, they should be in a perfect position to continue the form. England got out of jail big time in the last test match so this could almost be the battle between the Convicts and the Escaped Convicts.
But this Lords pitch looks like a piece of polished concrete. It’s a batsmans paradise and whoever knuckles down and makes a decent effort will get rewarded with a big score. Looks like it might be a very long 5 days.
